Job Description

Product Managers at Cipherpay are responsible for identifying problems, prioritizing ideas and solving them through product - right from problem discovery to conceptualization to launch. In this specific role, you would be responsible for the Payments Processing Engine, which includes (EMI, Subscription, BNPL, Wallets and Regular Modes of Payments) . This role will be a mix of at-scale product innovation as well as new initiatives in the zero-to-one phase. Primary customer identity for which you would be building products are Enterprise customers and hence prior background in building enterprise grade products at scale would be a big advantage for us. You should be equally comfortable model out a 1-2-years roadmap and running weekly sprints as this role demands part hands-on Product Management alongside cross-functional collaboration.

Today, most of the consumer requirements are fulfilled by businesses running on the EMI & subscription model. Zomato, Hotstar, Swiggy, Netflix, Flipkart, Amazon, Country Club, Spotify and most of the other big players are betting big on this model. This role would entail creating and executing our strategy. We believe that we need to not just adapt, but innovate and stay ahead of the curve on EMI, BNPL & Subscriptions as a mode of Payment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy: Define both long term strategy and quarterly roadmap to achieve the product vision and create impact.
Conceptualize New Solutions: Product conceptualization with a problem first, data-driven and test & iterate approach. Ensures conceptualization from a platform and a long-term view. Ensures value-based prioritization of product initiatives.
Build Products:Produce high-quality product specifications (User Stories) and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver key capabilities on time. Manages a cross-functional process for prioritizing and building products.
Launch Products: Draft and execute a go-to-market plan in conjunction with Product Marketing. Be the internal and external authority and advocate for your given area of focus.
